What type of firewood to choose?

Mixed types of firewood perfectly complements each other due to the variety of its properties. First of all, if birch firewood easily ignites, creates a lot of heat and burns for a long time, then the aspen provides an intense heat, but they need more time to burn, and alder firewood does not bring much heat, but effectively cleanses the flue. Therefore, the hosts can themselves adjust the burning mode, choosing different firewood in one or other proportions.

Various types of wood have their advantages and disadvantages, so it is worth knowing what kind of area and what purpose of the purchase. For example, the oak burns for a long time and gives maximum heat, the birch gives off a lot of heat and it is perfect for fireplace, stoves, as well as barbecues, because it does not contain resin and tannins.
